Pelicana Chicken Review If you're craving authentic Korean fried chicken, Pelicana hits the spot. From the moment I bit into their crispy chicken, it instantly transported me back to Seoul. They nailed the little details—perfectly tart pickled radish cubes, spicy hot sauce that had just the right kick, and fries drizzled with a semi-sweet white garlic sauce that balanced everything out. The chicken itself was light, crunchy, and full of flavor—exactly how I remember it in Korea. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but when the craving hits, it’s worth it. Great food, great experience, and definitely a go-to when you're looking for a real taste of Korea.

I recently visited a Korean restaurant and would rate the experience. My favorite dish was the fish cake soup—it was flavorful, comforting, and had the perfect balance of textures in the broth. The fish cakes were fresh and paired beautifully with the light yet satisfying flavors of the soup. The other dishes, like the crispy fried chicken and cheesy sides, were equally delightful, showcasing bold flavors and great variety. The thoughtful details, like providing gloves for eating fried chicken, made the meal even more enjoyable. What added to the experience was the assurance that the food was halal, which made me feel comfortable dining there. On top of that, the lady who served us was not only attentive but also cute and charming, making the experience feel extra warm and welcoming. It’s a place I’d happily revisit for its amazing food, great service, and inclusive options!

This place is absolutely amazing! Make sure you stop and try this place. You will not be disappointed. We found this place by chance, and I feel lucky we did. We had a great server, Annie. She helped us since it was our first time. I ordered a half order of crispy chicken with honey soy sauce. It was so good. My husband ordered the half crispy with the signature sauce, and he loved it. What I thought was so cool and different is they bring you a cabbage salad out like an appetizer, which was fresh and delicious . I definitely could have made that a meal with the dressing they make on top. I also ate it with the chicken, and it enhanced the flavor. We also got parsley fries, which were also amazing. We did not have anything bad and cannot wait to go back to try more. We also ordered our son a whole crispy boneless chicken with the cheese sauce, which was good and tangy. You definitely will be doing yourself a solid by trying this establishment.

It serves HALAL Korean Chicken & More offers a delightful dining experience. Chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful with a variety of sauces to choose from. The menu also features other Korean specialties like Kimchi fried rice, all served with care. The spacious, modern seating area creates a welcoming atmosphere, while the friendly staff provides excellent service. Though it can get busy on weekends, making you wait a bit, the food and overall experience are well worth it, making it a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Korean flavors in San Antonio. We tried fries, cheese balls, cheese sticks and variety of fried chicken and wings. Their signature sauce is a must try. Highly recommended!

We got the crispy wings with their signature sauce and hot mayo sauce. It was very good. Oh and their sweet cheese fries, interesting flavor (no pic). The only thing I was concerned with was there was a dead roach by our table and nobody cleaned it up although we did not bring it to their attention.

First time trying Pelicana and it was delicious! I took the suggestion of my server who was very nice and accommodating, of trying the crispy wings with original sauce which was sweet and delicious! I also added garlic fries which were hot and fresh when they arrived. Restaurant was clean and inviting and every member of the staff I encountered was friendly. FYI they make things to order and that can mean a bit of a long wait and the prices are on the high side but very good and worth a visit!

The best korean fried chicken in town, hands down for dukbokki with cheese on top. Oh my god I’m telling you the flavor was so good and portions were generous. Annie was doing a great job on recommending dishes and serving, overall all the employees were kind and friendly, the restaurant itself was cute and welcoming, food was delicious

The fried chicken here is absolutely amazing! The flavors are rich, and the seasoning is spot on. I tried the Crispy Chicken Wings with signature sauce and cheese sauce, and both were delicious in their own unique way. The chicken is juicy, crispy, and perfectly cooked. The Fish Cake Soup also good in this store! Highly recommended for anyone craving high-quality fried chicken. I'll definitely be coming back!
